The challenge
Protect a public plaza from vehicle threat without sterilising it — preserving pedestrian flow, sightlines and shallow services below.
Our approach
We used a shallow-mount PAS 68 bollard system suited to the constrained foundation depth, set out to keep desire lines and sightlines open.
The outcome
A rated bollard line that secures the frontage while the plaza still reads as open public space.
